Sampling error‐based model‐free predictive current control of open‐end winding induction motor with simplified vector selection

A sampling error-based finite-set predictive current control (FS-PCC) is proposed in this article for the open-end winding induction motor (OEWIM) drive. The scheme controls zero-sequence (ZSC) alongside stator currents. In a model-free approach, method predicts future of ZSC and components by voltage errors. way, parameters OEWIM are not utilised prediction algorithm FS-PCC. So, robust against variation parameter. Moreover, presents simple vector selection technique FS-PCC OEWIM. has two cost functions algebraic equation to put vectors (VVs) algorithm. first function uses VVs that do have component. Then, determines must be second function. Finally, optimum VV selected scheme, iterated 14 times instead 27 iterations conventional besides establishing novel algorithm, almost 50% fewer calculations. validity simplified been verified through experimental tests.
